Just purchased my NEW (to me) 2011 Camry... miles on odometer was exactly 27,000 miles after driving approx 20 miles off the CAR MAX lot.. when I took my foot off the gas pedal and let the Car decelerate .. when the miles got to between 30 but definitely by 25 miles the car feels as if some one reached over and pressed the brake... TOOK it back to CAR MAX and left it there for 3 whole days to have the Mechanic call me to tell me that THIS IS THE CHARACTERISTIC OF 2011 CAMRY...
I then took the car to my local TOYOTA Dealer.. Who said they could check it out but I would have to dish out a diagnostic fee (EEEE) and would have to make an appointment to clarify if THIS IN FACT a CHARACTERISTIC, BUT they would not know if my BUMPER TO BUMPER COVERAGE would be extended or honored by anyone other then CAR MAX.
I'll be making that TOYOTA Dealer appointment to further investigate this issue.
Can anyone else clarify if they have the same issue with 2011 Camry?
