CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2009 Camry used to be adorned with our “Seal of Pretty Good†but that was before an alarming number of complaints started rolling in for excessive oil consumption.
Owners are being caught off-guard with how quickly their cars are running out of oil. No leaks, no spills, just 1 quart of vanishing oil in as little as 1,200 miles. Toyota maintains this is “normal†for the 2AZ-FE engine, even though they issued a TSB for the problem in August of 2011.

does not not remotely drive like the car at dealership i had to barrow because the had to replace a battery that didnt even have the correct marking on tit as stated in the Toyota 2009 manual- battery was supposed to have a detector dot on it the read green for good, yellow for going bad and red for bad- , this initial battery that was in the car didn't even read Toyota on it - had no detector as stated in the manual and died at 14997 - hunk of crud- manual doesn't even remotely resemble half of the parts in this car and i also ordered another one just in case the one i was given was incorrect- there the flipping same- i even should it to another mechanic and he even said it didn't jive with the car- so what is the poop with this company and why does the manual say there was suppose to be a test dot on the battery when there wasn't one, and why would i have to have it replaced at 15000 miles, and this one says toyota one it. seems alittle suspicious dont you think.
