Owners are being caught off-guard with how quickly their cars are running out of oil. No leaks, no spills, just 1 quart of vanishing oil in as little as 1,200 miles. Toyota maintains this is “normal†for the 2AZ-FE engine, even though they issued a TSB for the problem in August of 2011.

The contact owns a 2009 Toyota Camry. The contact stated that he was unable to unlock or lock the doors using the key fob. The contact mentioned that the failure recurred several times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The technician diagnosed the door actuator was defective and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was no longer under warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 10,000 and the current mileage was 40,100.
We have a 2009 Camry that has intermittent issues in regard to the throttle linkage it has twice become stuck in the wide open position, we are very concerned about this issue and have been ignored by Toyota personal, we feel there is a real problem with the linkage and or computerized linkage issues.
