The contact owns a 2008 Toyota Camry le. He stated the vehicle gear shift selector was able to be moved from one gear to another without depressing the brake pedal. He felt this could possible pose as a safety issue. Neither the dealer nor manufacturer had been contacted pertaining to the failure. The VIN was not available. The failure and current mileages were approximately 40,000.
