CarComplaints.com Notes: Owners are reporting that their engines are running out of oil awfully quick. As in, 1 quart every 1,200 miles. Toyota maintains that’s with the “normal†operating range of the 2AZ-FE while owners maintain that’s complete BS.
The issue may be the result of defective piston rings.

Toyota should make a recall on this electrical problem. As I've read far too many complaints concerning the same issue. Which leads me to believe it is not isolated or due to normal wear and tear, but in fact is due to something else. Workmanship and/or quality of parts, perhaps? What about speeding tickets or an overheating engine or noise pollution (horn sounding intermittently), and or course just plain dangerous . I want to stand by Toyota, but they are making it difficult .
I could not wait for them to address the issues with the sun visors, so I had them replaced myself. And then the ones the Toyota dealer put in went bad. So I then replaced the driver's side sun visor under the special notice, now its going bad.
Now my driver side arm rest is bad also!!
Come on Toyota. Really?!
