CarComplaints.com Notes: Owners are reporting that their engines are running out of oil awfully quick. As in, 1 quart every 1,200 miles. Toyota maintains that’s with the “normal†operating range of the 2AZ-FE while owners maintain that’s complete BS.
The issue may be the result of defective piston rings.

Before 40K miles, my 2008 Camry needed new tires, new brakes, my water pump had broken and needed new belt. just After the warranty ran out but before 40,000 miles. Toyota should reimburse me.
The interior plastic is cracking...on doors, on steering column. the car is cheaply made and I've poured lots of money into it early on. I only have 52,000 miles on it in 6 years so it doesn't get abused.
