2005 Toyota Avalon Coolant Loss - 2005 Toyota Avalon V6 Has a small coolant leak in V- Valley of engine, near knock sensor. Refer to Web Page for details. Presently, leak is external, and no coolant in oil. Engine needs to come out for repairs. Cause is Leaking Head Gasket... Cost of repair $3,600 dollars. 144,000 Km on car. NOTE: Do a coolant pressure test, to check for leaks, also check for PINK POWDER RESIDUE under intake manifold and underside of car near transmission and frame.. .
