2008 Toyota Camry with brake failure. Consumer states that the brakes failed while trying to stop. He states the vehicle did not seem to slow down and that the airbags did not deploy. The consumer stated he noticed the ABS did not activate as it was designed. When he applied the brake, he noticed a lack of pulsing. He quickly released his foot from the brake and re-applied pressure to no avail. Consequently, the consumer crashed into the rear of truck. The consumer stated the other vehicle stopped abruptly due to traffic congestion and the roads were slick. The consumers vehicle was deemed totaled by the insurance company.
