The front brake rotors were worn, which caused the vehicle to experience extended stopping distance.also check engine light has been on since 45,000 miles.
Could hear grinding noise when applying brakes at 40mph; took to dealer & mechanic took for test drive; had same problem; had calipers, pads & rotors replaced. Problem still exists.
