Tire sidewall failure occurred when vehicle was parked. Failure occurred on inner sidewall. No abrasions or other signs of damage, just a 2-1/2" split in the sidewall.
After leaving a paved road at 35mph "double fine enforced" construction zone, wheel response to steering became erratic and the car vibrated, steering and suspension check out fine, two tires has a bulge and two had cracks in the tread grooves, tire replacement recommended. One other time a sudden loss of air in a tire, resulted from a valve stem extension malfunctioned.
