I had the radiator go out, the timing belt replaced 2 times. All struts failed, and transmission went out too. I sold the car, put to much money into it, but vehicle had over 200,000 miles on it when that happened.
While turning off the vehicle driver left vehicle in drive, took the key out of the ignition, and noticed the car was starting to roll. Consumer's vehicle hit another vehicle before coming to a complete stop. Keys were removed from vehicle's ignition and the engine was shut off when the vehicle had rolled and hit another vehicle.
Transmission failure: Went from neutral to drive without engaging. Toyota - split transmission cost - findings were metal in transmission. Front axle: Cv boots were dryrotted and whole axle on front had to be replaced. 2 motor mounts busted - car only 6 years old.
While driving about 55 mph, vehicle started knocking and lost power, then it stalled. Vehicle had to be towed where dealer could not explain what was the cause, but they had found metal particles in transmission.
