The problem is new, but I believe it has been around for a while. I hate the idea of paying $400-$500 to get a new exhaust system, as the current one is to rusted to be fixed or patched much. Also we will probably buy another in 16 months after we get into a home. I hope the car holds up till then on at least this matter, I will watch it to see if it worsens.
