I purchased a 2021 Toyota C-HR in April of 2021 and from day one I have had nothing but a problem with it. That's not to say I don't love the car because I do but the problem is when you fill up the gas tank, the analog gas needle goes all the way to full but the digital gas range only reads 250 miles when it is supposed to be 385 or so says the EPA. I have taken the vehicle to the dealer three different times for the issue the first time they said come back when you have an empty tank the the second time they refused to look at the car and the third time being today 5/5/2021.
They told me that this is the way the car was designed deal with it so now I'm here filing this complaint and looking into filing lemon law. the part that upsets me the most is that they didn't try to fix the issue they just looked at the car and brushed it off Toyota is supposed to be very reliable but this one is not reliable at all and there's proof in the many different forums that this is an ongoing issue with this specific modal of Toyota ever since they came out in 2018 at this point I'm at a loss and the only thing to do is to look into filing lemon law as I said up top. I was so happy and so pleased with my Corolla that I came back to Toyota but this if I'm being honest is bull s*** if I'm going to spend 43 grand on a car, its going to be something that I like and enjoy because at this point no car is reliable.
