All 3 seatbelt clips in the middle row of the vehicle have started to malfunction at once. The seat belt does not come out when the button is pushed. It is quite a concern that all 3 malfunctioned at once. Toyota's response is that they are worn out and need to be replaced, not sure they looked at them at all. This is quite a concern as the car is not old and such a vital component is already apparently worn out. Toyota say this is not a known problem but given that all 3 went simultaneously and I bought the Avanza soon after it arrived in SA perhaps this problem will start occurring more.
