The car was parked. I start the car and put it in reverse and the car took off on its own at a high speed, accelerating by itself in reverse. Only after the car made impact with a concrete curb, destroying the rear passenger tire then continuing out of control colliding into another park vehicle, I was finally able to force the gear shift into park and stop the vehicle!
