This is the third Toyota I have bought in a row and I would have remained a loyal Toyota customer had they considered this to be defective manufacturing. I'm sorry, I don't buy that it's common for a rock or stick to pop up off the road and knock a hole in your metal radiator. I've been driving for 30 years and have never had a problem nor known anyone else who has had a similar problem. Noticed that Honda Accords are in the same boat, So, if Toyota and Honda want to use sub par materials to build radiators and place them in a vulnerable position in the engine design and not take responsibility for the lack of durability, then that is their prerogative. However, it is my prerogative to let others know and to sell my Toyota and switch to another brand. You better believe it won't be Toyota and it won't be Honda. Very sad. After so many years of loyalty and the first issue I raise and they wash their hands of it. Sorry - external damage. Yeah, driving down a perfectly smooth, paved highway - very treacherous conditions, indeed.
