We have had this problem for a couple of years. My wife recieves a call while driving, hit the recieving switch and the caller does not hear her. The local dealer tries to fix with no success. I hoped someone would know how to fix this.
I bought the car new and have had issues with the Bluetooth systems almost continually.
I have taken it in 3 times and this cominf Friday will be the 4th.
At first they told me they could find nothing wrong, then they said they "adjusted" it, next they said they did a software update.
Regardless I continue to experience the same issue. My wife even saved a message I left on our answering machine so I could hear it myself. What you get is distorted sound and you only here about every 4th or 5th word said.
I drive over 500 miles a week and having a functioning Bluetooth phone system in my car is very important to me.
If it isn't addressed with this 4th visit I will be contacting Toyota Corporate.
