Low engine oil light started turning on at 4,500 miles. At 5,400 miles (the 5,000 mile check up for tire rotation), tech noted 2.5 quarts low. Oil was changed and dealership wanted to check again at 6,600 miles. No oil shortage noted. At 10,000 mile rotation and 1st official recommended oil change, 1 quart low noted. Toyota authorizes dealership to pull valve covers to inspect. Valve seal on # 4 was dislodged so Toyota authorized all valve seals and other necessary parts to be replaced. Tech states that the small amount of oil burnt in 10,000 miles should not affect catalytic converter or sensors or engine performance down the road. I have concerns about that.
