This has happened twice in 2 months. We went on vacation for about 10 days and when we got back the car won't start because of dead battery. We took it into the Toyota dealer where I bought it to have a new battery installed. They checked it out and told me the battery was good and it is a problem with cars with all the electrical equipment to drain the battery down over a period of time. They said that some people hook a battery maintainer to the car when it is left for a time. Have you ever tried to run a maintainer in a airport parking lot? You talk about a pain in the wrist when you have to call someone to jumper your car.
Does anyone have a suggestion for this problem. They told me at the Toyota garage that it happens to some cars in as little as 7 days.
