So, there is snow on the ground. My VSC light comes on on the first slip of the tires, along with the check engine light. When I look it up, it states that both do in fact come on together, so there isn't a chance you can pass inspection until you clear the issue. Even thought the car runs perfectly fine.

I have the diagnostics run to find that there is a bulletin, AKA, a way to screw you over, that requires the exhaust manifold to be replaced for an A/F sensor. The cost $1,445.00 The vehicle has 77,000 miles on it!

In the past 20,000 miles I have had to replace ignition coils and now an exhaust manifold on what is deemed the top line car that Toyota has to offer.

I have had less Maintenance needed on a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country which I use for everything.

The non-chalant attitude exhibited by Toyota on a known defect, is stunning.

The best analogy I can come up with for this is if the smoke detector in your house needs to be replaced, you need to re-wire your entire house!

toyota has made it clear that the quality of their product has taken a dramatic turn and that they do not care. This will be the last Toyota I own.
