Really disappointed, as only had the vehicle for two years. Purchased due to the 4Runner’s reputation of extreme durability and long life, particularly of the engine and transmission. Left us stranded on the side of the highway at 9:00 pm in the middle of nowhere waiting an hour for the tow truck. All scheduled maintenance performed at the local Toyota dealership during the two years owned.
