CarComplaints.com Notes: The Model S has a 5-star safety rating and scored a 99/100 in consumer satisfaction from Consumer Reports. Even when a problem with battery fires popped up, Tesla promptly responded with an over-the-air-software update and military grade titanium. Impressive. Still it's too early to tell how this car will hold up.

Tesla replaced the main infotainment screen when the car was still under bumper-to-bumper warranty for a similar issue. I raised my concern about the issue at the time, and was told that if it happened they would take care of it. Well, I drive a lot and quickly blew past 100k miles and out of warranty. Fast forward to now, and they are wanting to change the screen - but on my dime. I'm not pleased about it.
