After one and a half year of patience, I finally received my Model S on the 25th of November. Drove out of the Tesla garage, half a kilometer slowly to the left, made slow U-turn, and then back half a kilometer on the same road. Right in front of the Tesla garage, the road was free, so I wanted to feel the 600Nm torque and hit the accelerator pedal. The car did not accelerate at all. Instead, I heard a loud noise in the back of the car, lost the little speed I got, and barely succeeded to park the car at the side of the road.
Tesla technicians had to push the car back to the garage. A clip of the cardan appeared not to have been fixed. The clip was molded in the transmission box, thus damaging the entire motor. Till today, I'm still waiting for my 'new' car.
Congratulations though for the service manager, who was even able to keep his cool. Unfortunately, even a car can make only one first impression...
