The contact owns a 2008 Suzuki XL7. While driving approximately 2 mph, the contact attempted to park the vehicle and the steering wheel began to exhibit a loud noise. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnosis. The technician informed that the failure was contributed to the manufacturers faulty design of the rack and pinion. The part was unavailable. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 22,000.
