ABS light came on. Brakes failed several times. Had to pump brakes quickly to be able to stop completely without using emergency brake. Malfunction occurred within a few days of ABS light turning on. Took car to dealership for repairs. Paid for repairs. Car continued to malfunction: After driving only 95 miles, ABS light still on and brakes went out again. Unable to drive the car now or to get dealership to correct problem satisfactorily.

While driving 10 mph vehicle shut down. As a result, power steering failed, and the brakes became very hard. Pe04062_cat. The consumer had the vehicle towed to the dealer on 8/2/2004 where it remained until 8/21/04.
