The squeaky noise (a bit like a low whistle or when cleaning a window) happens intermittently when either pushing the clutch in or releasing. This is a brand new car. I have reported the problem to the dealer and they said that they have had similar complaints and have tried to find the source, but have not been successful. They have now reported it to Suzuki South Africa and still waiting for further information.

It would be good to know how widespread this problem really is, and if anyone has managed to get a satisfactory explanation or fix yet.
