The contact owns a 2007 Suzuki Forenza. The contact was driving approximately 40 to 50 mph on normal road conditions. The "air bag" warning light indicator was illuminated on the instrument panel. The warning indicator remained illuminated until the engine was turned off. The authorized dealer was notified. The vehicle has not been repaired at this time. The failure and current mileages were 70,000.

First was the seats belt this was fix, after that was the trans range switch I have to pay because they refuse to pay for that and now is the air bag light is on and I call the manufacturer and they send me to the shop but the shop refuse to check the car because the warranty is expire but this car is from 2007.

The contact owns a 2007 Suzuki Forenza. While driving 15 mph, the contact was involved in a head-on crash. The air bags failed to deploy. The vehicle was towed to a salvage yard. The dealer could not assist and advised the contact to call her lawyer. She sustained major injuries with her back and neck, as well as hearing issues and hernias. A police report was filed. The failure and current mileages were 32,000.

The contact owns a 2007 Suzuki Forenza. While driving between 35-45 mph on a snow covered road, the contact crashed into the passenger side of another vehicle. The inadvertent air bag deployment caused the driver to sustain severe injuries. The air bag warning indicator did not illuminate on the instrument panel. The police and ambulance were called to the scene and a police report was filed. The driver was transported to the hospital with head injuries and a broken knee cap. The vehicle was completely destroyed and was towed to the collision center. The failure and current mileages were 38,000.

The contact owns a 2007 Suzuki Forenza. When the ignition was turned on, the air bag warning indicator would illuminate on the instrument panel. The warning indicator remained lit until the engine was turned off. The front and driver side interior door handles failed without warning. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnostic testing, but they could not determine the cause of the failures. The driver and passenger side air bag harness and door handles were replaced under the service warranty. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on a separate occasion for identical failures. In addition, the bolts from the radiator fan were loose and some were missing. Currently, the parts for the repair are unavailable and have been ordered. The failure mileage was 12,000 and current mileage was 17,000. Updated 3/25/09 updated 03/25/09.

The contact owns a 2007 Suzuki Forenza. While seated in the passenger seat with her daughter seated in the driver's seat, the contact smelled a burning smell coming from the driver's side of the vehicle. The contact exited the vehicle and went around the vehicle to help her paraplegic daughter exit the vehicle. Before she could reach her daughter, the air bag deployed and struck her in the back, upper shoulder, and neck region. The paramedics were called and gave her an ice pack. The contact informed her to go to her doctor's office for further evaluation. The failure mileage was 39,841.

Traveling w on nc 24 stopped in traffic at light. Other vehicle lost control, struck front drivers door and rear passenger door on drivers side of car. Airbags did not deploy. Hit head on door frame. Having headaches and a knot on head. Picking glass out of head for several weeks. Neck hurts, left and right arm hurt with swelling and knots and bruises. Left side of body hurts: Ribs, hip, leg, knee and shin.

The contact owns a 2007 Suzuki Forenza. The contact stated that the air bag warning light remains illuminated after the vehicle is started. The failure only occurs when there is a passenger in the front seat. The dealer stated that the failure was due to the air bag and was replaced. Approximately three weeks later, the failure recurred. The dealer stated that the sensor needed to be re-routed and performed the repair. However, the failure persists. The current mileage is 5,430 and failure mileage was 2,000.
