I bought this car used from ramsey motors and didnt do any homework on the past owners or accidents. Should of checked into that. Cause I was sold a vehical that had the wiring rigged into the fuze box. This was not noticable to the eye.right before I had the accident the headlights flickered thankfully I was alone and only traveling at 30 mph. I was crossing a narrow bridge in jasper Arkansas and something caused that wire to loose contact with where it was riggd to. I registered my vehical to get more info on the situation and had to bring it home by trailer. The mechanic was informative to what could of caused the headlights to malfunction. I soon found myself with alot of info I wish id a known before I purched the car now I am due for court with several citations due to unsafe vehical. Sucks

After first purchasing this vehicle, the transmission range sensor failed which resulted in the vehicle jerking then suddenly going into neutral while driving down a local road. The sensor was replaced only to fail again within two years. This part has been replaced several times in the past 7 years and is again failing. The result is always the same, either decreased and unsafe acceleration or suddenly slipping into neutral, including while on a busy freeway.

Was driving and transmission range sensor went bad and car jumped out of gear no warning. Traffic behind almost collided. My 4 year old was in back seat. Very scary. Called Suzuki and they said this is an extremely common problem considering my make, model, mileage. So why am I, a single disabled mother, responsible for getting a well known, unsafe manufacturer issue repaired..... I can't afford this and from what I was told most people with similar issue had this problem not only once but few months after getting repair done. This is extremely unsafe! car shifting and stalling while at full speed! me and my son could have been seriously hurt! planning to call Suzuki customer relations to see if they can fix issue because it is not fair that I have to come up with way to repair such a dangerous problem so many Suzuki owners have experienced.

When driving my 2007 Suzuki Forenza the engine light comes on and I lose all power in movement. If I stop and start driving again I have to push the gas pedal to the floor to get the car moving again, it takes off very slowly and I cannot get the car to go over 25 miles per hr. When I take it in to a mechanic they run tests but say there is no problem found. I believe this is a manufacturer defect. I have read on the web of many others having the same problem. I fill that this is unsafe and would like this investigated if possible.

Transmission range sensor: Very common problem. Makes the car unsafe to drive and not covered under power train warranty. Dealer knew exactly what was wrong, is a very common issue that is $400 just to replace a small electronic component.
