I'm guessing around 1.2 to 2K US dollars to fix. Because Subaru used a bushing, instead of bearing, I feel the part wore out too soon, at 121K miles. I got codes p0700 and p2764. I don't hot dog my car, I'm a pretty conservative driver. I've had a number of vehicles with well over 100K miles without any problems with the transmission.
