I'm right at 6' and the rear view mirror is often exactly where I need to be able to see any car that may be approaching on a cross street to my right. I have to consiously duck my head down to look under the mirror to check to my right. Several times when I forgot to duck my head I've nearly caused an accident at intersections. It appears the mirror could have been mounted a few inches higher and still have a view out the rear window. Just not a good fit even for a fairly ordinary height driver.
