rear suspension leaves tires cupped
This 2015 STI is the only new car that I've ever bought, and after a round trip from Chicago IL to Akron OH both of my aftermarket 17" tires were cupped on the inside of the rears! I'm about to do the same trip this year on the OEM 18" wheels/tires, and we'll see what happens to those.
Before this, I owned a 2005 STI for 7 years, which used those same 17" wheels for 5 years with no problems. The tires only had 5000 miles from the 2005 with no problems, but in 3000 miles on the 2015 the rears were cupped. I thought the 08+ double wishbone rear suspension was supposed to be better, but so far I'm not convinced.
