I expected much better out of Subaru. I bought this car new and never took it to the track - this is an everyday work commuter. The car was completely stock up until now. Yes, I drive aggressively - but that's why you buy an expensive STI rally car. I didn't buy a car to drive it like a soccer mom. I believe 45,500 miles is ridiculous for a clutch. I called corporate and they did not even try to resolve, they just gave the "wear and tear" answer. I bought a Japanese car for reliability and quality. I will install a stage 1 clutch but most likely will not buy another Subaru again.
