I took car in to from when I 1st bought car, they said nothing wrong. Then they said things like it's dirty oil, that's why car runs bad. I had just changed oil less than 30 days with synthetic. Then it was my m.a.f. sensor. They wanted to change out for $638 it was covered under warranty but they didn't tell me, so I replaced myself, part only cost $90. Then I found out was covered under extended, they were smashed. They finally fixed my car like it should have ran. It was in the shop for almost 2 weeks, then I went to Ogden Utah 5/23. Then came back on the 31st. Car lost compete power on freeway, never to start again, had to tow myself back to Oxnard with a UHaul car carrier. Then they said I need all my service records. As I do my own maintenance tried to blame on bad service. Boy were they wrong. It seems to on going litigation on my engine.
So this happened twice. Only in the first year of owning the car in 2015 (yes its a 2016 model) I have the CVT and I was at a stop light, and the engine shut off and I had to start it again. Second time, turning left and waiting for an opening and did the same thing. Can't stall an automatic. I called the dealer and said they never hard of it. After that it never happened again. This was summer, flat, sunny days. Maybe it was just breaking in.... in a weird way. but it hasn't happened since.
