So just got back from Beaverton Carr Subaru after bringing my brand new 2015 WRX in for the 4th time to fix a random transmission problem that keeps happening to me and now I'm being told to drive it till it happens again. The problem is that at random the transmission will lock me out from shifting into any gear and leave me stranded. Each time the problem has happened I will park the car on the side of the road and leave it overnight because it will not go into gear for about a day and when I come back to pick up the car the next day or get it towed it starts right up with no issues shifting into any gear.
I have talked to corporate multiple times and have two case numbers but every time I bring the car into Carr Subaru they say they cannot find any problems with the car. Its really becoming a frustrating matter because I just want a car I can drive without having to worry about my personal safety because if the car were to lock me out on the freeway as I'm making a pass I could be killed do to the sudden lockout problem I've been experiencing.
Each of the 4 times I've brought it in to get fixed they haven't done anything because they cannot duplicate the problem and now they are trying to play the you abused your car card so they don't have to fix it. F*CK THAT. I bought a bumper to bumper warranty with the car and its also leased so whats preventing them from tearing into the car and fixing it. I bought this car for reliability and so far its the most unreliable POS I have ever owned.
I've done all maintenance on time, never raced the car on a track, and do a lot of freeway driving. I'm pissed off because this has been a on going problem that has left me stranded multiple times yet nothing has been done so I'm driving a ticking time bomb and need some ideas on what to do?
