About 5 months ago the radio stopped working consistently. Sirius told me to press and hold the power button for 30 seconds and that will reset the nav/radio unit. About 2 months ago they did a "software update" but the problem continues and now is getting worst, and it's almost every day I have to reset the radio.

Now when I take the car in, they tell me a software update is needed, but it is not available, and they do not know when it will be available. When I complained, they gave me an 800 number. I waited and then left my call back number in cue. 6 hours later, no callback.

We pack the entire car to head home from Oregon to California and start the car... and all these error codes popped up. Brakes, Navigation, radio, eye sight and more were not functioning. We turned off the engine, and waited a few minutes then restarted the car. The car started and we were going to take it to a Subaru dealer as the error codes remained. But before we hit the main road they disappeared. We were able to drive it all the way home.

This has happened once before.

Intermittently the dash and navigation shuts down and after a few seconds will reboot. Loose all electrical. GPS quits. Repeatedly happens while driving. Took to dealer was told to press "defrost" button 5 times when this happens so that the problem is recorded. Did that - took back to Dealer for them to send to Subaru - was 2 months ago haven't heard a response.

2nd time taking into dealer to fix command screen. After taking my car to the dealer I purchased from, I went to another dealer because I have had been there many many times for all kinds of problems. I took it in and a very short time later they called and said they found the problem. Why couldn't my dealer find it? Anyway when I get more time, I will write more complaints about the many other issues Subaru won't fix.

In all fairness, they did do one fix. I am left with problems a person should not have with a brand new car. Buying a Subaru is a very expensive lesson in buying a piece of s*** Subaru. Don't buy one. We all have enough problems in our lives. Stay tuned for more problems that Subaru won't fix.

Command control for car keeps shutting down. When starting car the screen display is black. Can't adjust temp, radio or set anything on car screen. When it eventually comes on, it is all mixed up and still unusable. If it does work when driving it shuts down. No radio, no phone call, no command of anything. Really annoying. Took it in and they said nothing wrong. Never got fixed.

Radio/Navigation unit will shut down repeatedly after driving for 2 - 3 hours. Happens every time. Very frustrating. The Subaru Service department is telling me they do not have a solution and would not swap out the unit.
