It seems my 2020 Subaru is a lemon. I have had it for 6 months. It has 5000 miles. So far it would not start 3 times. The first time was a few months ago. I had to get the battery jumped. I took it into the dealership and of course they couldn't find the problem. 2 days ago I drove it from the driveway into the garage. A few hours later when I tried to start the engine it would not start. Eventually I got the steering wheel in a locked position and it started.

This morning it did the same thing and I again got the steering wheel in a locked position and it started. It seems to have a problem going short distances. Very frustrating. I talked to the service department where I purchased the car and the guy said the company is aware of the problem. Umm... If you are aware that there is a problem why didn't Subaru recall the 2020 Outbacks?

My daughter looked on the internet last night and found an article where Subaru is being sued over electrical problems on the battery of the 2020 Outback. The article said that the only way to fix the problem is to completely replace the electrical system on each car with the problem. Sounds expensive which would be why they are not admitting to the problem. I have an appointment in 2 days to have them look at the car. I don't have my hopes up that they will fix the problem though.
