Based upon the Subaru review in the Consumer Reports April Auto Issue, I purchased a 2019 Outback. There is a problem with the steering. It has about thirty degrees of play. It does not stay in the center of the lane. Constant correction is needed. The service department told me that there is nothing wrong with the steering. I just had to get used to driving with the Subaru “eye sightâ€. Driving on the interstate is stressful to say the least. On a trip to Tampa on I-275 almost side swiped another car. From the replies from two Subaru service departments, it appears that they are aware of the lousy steering, but will not do anything to fix the problem. This definitely will be my last Subaru. I want to puke each time I see a Subaru ad on television.
