When car was new this rope seal appeared to have been pressed down hard, as time and weathering occurred the seal started to make itself seen and sticks out now. Appears to be a sloppy install at the factory and hidden as carefully as possible. Dealership had the complaint but failed to look at it as so many other things were wrong.
