This car has had all of the maintenance done to the letter and I did most of the 60k mile maintenance myself, except the cvt fluid and brakes. Tool it to the dealer to have it done and they tell me about this oil leak on the top part of the engine near the crank case. I did the spark plugs not even 2 weeks prior and there was no oil there. When we bought the car it was all highway miles and they had the records of the maintenance.
Idk if it was the dealer being shystie because i told them I have been doing the maintenance or it is actually something that happened on its own. Either way it makes me never want to get another Subaru again especially if it only has 60k miles and is leaking oil. That is pathetic. I have a 2006 Toyota with 180k miles, and that the most I have only spend $800 on a repair(AC) and now you are telling me i need a $3000 repair on my 4 year old car with only 60k miles. Utter bull. That's not acceptable, things like this don't typically start happening till after 120k miles.
