This is the second oil change I had the dealer do. When I check the dip stick the next morning it showed the oil level to be !/2 inch above the full mark. The dealer told me they check the oil (5) minutes after running the car as per Subaru. Can you tell me the correct way the check my oil level for my Subaru. I was always told to check my oil after the car has set & cooled down. Also my car book does not call for (6) quarts of oil as shown on the bill. Owner's manual calls for 5.1 US qts for oil change and filter. Can you help this senior citizen out.
thank you
J. Burns
PS.The same thing happened on the first oil change. I had them take oil out of the car.
