My new car - 2015 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited - purchased June 1, 2015 Thus far has been through: - 9 Service department visits, - 26 days in the repair shop, - Hours of phone conversations, - Long threads of emails, - 2 appointments with the FSE, - Looping test drives. I am left with a new Subaru that significantly vibrate at highway speeds.(63+mph)
The manufacturer's Field Service Engineer; has verified the symptoms on the V6 - 3.6R model BUT same model 4 Cylinder Outback does not have the symptoms.
Manufacturer is claiming that this symptom is and I quote - "Designed characteristics of the V6 models."
I refused to believe and accept that Subaru designs flagship model WITH designed characteristics - which vibrated the car at highway speeds.
As of September 14, 2015 - I am still working with Subaru of America, to get this defect resolved.
