Well, I have my Ipod connected to the USB interface in the center counsole. When I turn my car on it does not read that my Ipod is connected. I either have to unplug it and plug back in, or Turn the car off completely and then back on. Very seldom it will read it plugged in the first start. I have taken it to the dealer(Stohlman Subaru in Tysons, VA) twice for this issue, The first time the tech asked me to show him, so I did. Then I was told that my car was ready and that they could not duplicate the problem(how could they not duplicate when I duplicated it right in front of the mechanic????????) The second time they told me it was my cable(This was already a new monster cable because the original apple cable did the same thing) . I sent the cable back to monster and they sent me a new one this week, It did the same thing, So I went and purchased another new apple cable two days ago and again the same thing. Today is 10/9/14 and I just dropped it off at stohlmans again with both cables, I will let you know what they say this time. I have reported this to Subaru of America but all they tell me is that they have to go by what the mechanic tells them.............................
