Defective Subaru design on the Air movement around the bulbs causing overheating and premature failure.
2. Defective design of the replacement method of the front headlamps requiring jacking the car, removing the front wheels and wheel wells to replace per dealer thus the high labor cost.
3. Total of five bulbs had to be replaced for a cost of $202.00 without tax at 35,000 Miles. No time warranty on the bulbs when over 36,000 miles, considered a wear and tear item.
Obviously a high expense situation never encountered with other vehicles including previous Subarus.
Drivers side headlight burned out 1st time 10/05/14, now second time 9/10/15.
Passengers side 1st time 11/14.
These lights are a pain to change - you have to pull back the wheel well and reach blindly up to the headlight, unlatch it and remove then install with the same reach. All the while everything in there is trying to cut your arm.
