I purchased this vehicle in September of 2012 new. A second starter was installed on April 4, 2017 at 57,395 miles. A third starter was installed on December 6 of 2017. At 64,245 miles , the starter actually threw Sparks. I've owned many vehicles in my 49 years of driving and can honestly say that maybe once have I had a starter go out on a vehicle.

I was informed originally that a rebuilt starter carries the same warranty as a new starter. However, that apparently is not the case according to my dealer's service manager. Now that I am out of my extended warranty, I anticipate all hell will break loose with this vehicle which is terribly disappointing. I only have 72,000 miles on this vehicle, I am the only driver, and I am not a speed freak nor a little old lady.
