Earlier in the day, the coolant temperature light was flashing blue and red. After adding more coolant and checking the oil in the engine and allowing it to cool down, and it went away. However, it came back on and a few miles down the road, the engine started to release white smoke. Pulled over, turned car off and got out of the car. 10 minutes later, the smoke turned black and flames could be seen. Luckily, the fire department showed up in time. The fire got so hot, it melted the front tires and the side mirrors. We think it was caused due to a recall but we still don't know what caused it.
