Changed the low beam headlight which resulted in the following dash lights going haywire: cruise control light flashing. Brake light flashing. Engine light on. Skid control light on. How could simply changing a light bulb cause the aforementioned dash lights to come on and how do I reset them?

Similar to previous complaint posted here, all sorts warning of lights come on. Manual states to check gas cap. Didn't help. Replaced battery. OK for 2 weeks, now just had car towed to shop, electrical going bonkers, car is undriveable. Online solution found is brake sensor could be dirty ...we will see. Pain in the ..., have had car only one month, wondering if previous owner dumped car for this reason. Ran well for 3 weeks, now recurring issue.

Warning lights come on, cruise control inop, park brake won't release at times, no power. This failure has happened 4 times now. Dealerships always find something different..in order to avoid the lemon laws in Nevada. First it was a reset of some module, then it was an update firmware to that module, then it was 'probably a loose gas cap (bullshit), and then the last time, it was a defective gas cap, which again was bullshit. We plugged a gas cap off another 2011 outback and the warning lights were still on. Subaru has a problem with this car's electrical system and they are doing everything possible, including falsifying their repair records to cover their asses so they won't have to replace the car under the lemon law. I am surprised no one has complained here about this issue...it has been an on-going problem for 3 model years now. We now have 20,000 miles on the vehicle and it is 1 year old.
