Just had the head gasket done at a cost of $2400. Drove it for 4000 km which was below mileage required for next oil change. While coming back from cottage, engine started making noises. No warning lights came on. I pulled over and engine just stopped . Could get it to go. Had it towed to dealer. Next, dealer tells me engine needs to be replaced. They said there was no oil in the engine. How can this happen with no warning light?
