Subaru have a safety recall (brakes) but the nearest dealer is 2 hrs drive away. They expect me to take it there, wait for work to be done and come back (so a day out) rather than collecting it or authorising local repairs. Spoken to Managing Director and no compromise. Is this fair? Thought highly of Subaru before and was planning to buy new Outback to add to existing one. Looking at Land Rover instead after this. Thank you
