Subaru has suggested that the car AND the part is too old to carry any kind of warranty. Nonetheless, the hood deflector DID come off at highway speed - approximately 70 MPH - and flew back into the windshield. It very well could have resulted in a serious accident. The service department at a local Subaru dealership simply blew me off when I brought the car in for an evaluation....NOT ACCEPTABLE!
