The problem was first noticed when we started smelling burning oil and seeing smoke.
At first the verdict was a blown gasket, which fouled the clutch; both were replaced under warranty. The alternator was replaced because of a recall at the same time.
The problem persisted however and the engine began to overheat. Upon closer inspection the dealership determined that the block had cracked and replaced it.
